Ritsueto

RITSUETO

Ritsueto Remina, the Abyssal Omen, is the regal prince of the Abyssal Empire and the anti-villainous deuteragonist of the BioMassCore’s storyline, serving as the rival to Elpis. He is known infamously by his Homunculi title as the 0th Velcryth, Haos Powehi and has had a reputation for a destructive incident in his ritualistic birth. He was formerly a part of a special ghostly clan unit of Black Velcryth used in the Lux Order of Providence, whom secretly used them for research and saw them as outdated compared to their other unit that overthrown them when the Lux Order betrayed the Abyssal Empire after numerous records of conflict between the two factions. In his wander across history, Ritsueto wishes to find purpose in life within his kingdom’s expansion and cure impure existence.

Personality

Ritsueto is an exuberantly noble yet ruthless individual who believes that adaptation to all experiences and suffering is a necessity for one to be elevated. His guiding principle is collective purpose over personal freedom: individuals must adapt to their roles, connect to one another, and reinforce the natural order rather than rebel against it. Otherwise, the world risks having selfish people who are incapable of making choices that benefit everyone. Speaking with a smooth, almost hypnotic demeanor with metaphors and riddles to make himself as if he’s above the ordinary and often illustrates the idea that everyone is part of a greater order. Instead of fighting to find personal meaning, he fights for the survival of the Abyssal Empire, which he believes will bring a greater force to unite the world. He believes any moment of pain, joy, and destruction is part of a deeper orchestration as signs that the world is alive. Individuals are only meant to find links amongst themselves to reinforce the natural order, a hierarchy that he believes the Empire understands better than anyone else. Life, to him, is an endless performance where he refuses to take anything seriously unless it breaks him. He masks himself through adopting different “roles” based on the situation, they’re also how he keeps from confronting the instability within himself. Using tactics that are patient, elegant, and methodical, much alike to a predator hunting it’s prey and is willing to sacrifice whatever is necessary. Even when faced with harsh truths, Ritsueto chooses to believe in possibilities where others only see limits, chasing miracles that will raise the spirit of things. Which causes him to vocally despise those that challenge his ideals and sees them as as disruptive to common collection. Yet in rare moments, he cries when he’s delighted, laughs when he’s terrified, and dances through devastation.

His ruthlessness is fueled by deep care for the people he cherishes, particularly for his little sister, Isobel. He might even hesitate to sacrifice someone who reminds him of her or go to extreme lengths to protect her from the consequences of his actions. In contrast to Elpis, Ritsueto doesn’t reject his heritage or suppresses his nature. Instead, he celebrates it and even rushes into danger with reckless excitement. He relishes his role as a necessary agent of “correction through chaos”, when others deviate, he sees it as his solemn duty to force them back onto their rightful paths. In adaptation in the environment put around him by Aheri, Ritsueto has come to enjoy marine biology and water-related environments in general as it makes him feel closer to his home land, specifically during stormy times at aquatic areas. He has a distain for the color of his eyes due to it feeling that the clear eyes represent him being stuck within a dream that he wishes to make true. Ritsueto thrives on assimilation, drawing different traits from every opponent he faces as his way of learning and growing. Thus, when confronted with new challenges, Ritsueto shows a form of respect to his opponent and sees them as a source of communion.

Relationships

  • Equinox: Equinox often claims he has Ritsueto’s best interests at heart, steering him into his way so that his individuality doesn’t go loose with his instincts as he feels Ritsueto is the most perfect of his Velcryth and doesn’t want that to be tainted. But Ritsueto feels distant from Equinox in a sense of confusion with their general bond. Something that Equinox constantly attempts to re-assure him with before Aheri’s death, which had caused Ritsueto to make his attachment focused on Equinox. Ritsueto doesn’t want the image that made him to be lost like the woman that brought him his emotions. Equinox however refuses to accept Ritsueto sobbing for him, and never wants to see him saddened when his existence eventually must fade. Ritsueto generally attempts to keep himself tame in fear of shaming his lineage and keeping Equinox impressed. He fears that if he were to shame Equinox that his potential lineage would be tainted with the simplest mistake, thus not even by command but by instinct he’d slit his arms with his own fingers if he felt he has done something his father didn’t appreciate.

  • Aheri: Ritsueto believed Aheri was someone of free mind and pure individuality. He had found things to care about before and after her death. Aheri was essentially the one that indirectly gave him his own sense of sentience by teaching him the meanings behind emotions that he didn’t understand well. As part of a sign of appreciation, Ritsueto feels attached to her in a way that he wanted to impress her to feel like he’s ascending to different signs of emotions with his free will. Ritsueto keeps his amulet as part of remembering Aheri.

Abilities

Ritsueto carries advanced abilities of a Black Velcryth, controlling bio-mechanical abyssal protoplasms of his flesh. His protoplasms flow like water pressurized by lightning, this lightning being dark energy which can vary depending on his distortional mass. This dark energy grows through forcefully absorbing light or atoms from organisms into Ritsueto to feed him via focusing into vital nodes that send or receive energy, decaying the sources that it comes from as a result. By unleashing waves of surged protoplasms, Ritsueto breaks down matter into its most basic form, causing irreversible damage and disintegration at a molecular level. Triggering uncontrollable reactions, unpredictable transformations, spontaneous disintegration, fission, etc by disrupting atomic and biological structures thus causing structural weaknesses. He can nullify any attempts at manipulation, reformation, or restructuring of matter. It is the antithesis of dynamic change and evolution, enforcing a state of perpetual solidity and rigidity. His eyes grant him kinetic vision into reality, having extraordinary perception and is able to sense the flow of energy. Granting him precise control over how his symbiotic protoplasms work and how he uses his weapons through gathering energy of those around him for absorption, causing the gathered energy to pass through his protoplasms in a rippling motion. By telekinetically bending and guiding the subatomic flow of energy within these vectors toward converging points, Ritsueto can transform them into projectiles that serve various purposes, attacking, deflecting, altering, overwhelming, or even manipulating matter in complex vector patterns. With this, Ritsueto could tweak the trajectory of objects in motion, redirecting projectiles to hit specific targets or even altering the path of natural phenomena like hurricanes or lightning strikes.

Ritsueto’s vectors affects the direction and speed of his gravital traversal whether on sky or air, changing direction rapidly to dart swiftly, creating powerful currents to propel himself, allowing for swift maneuvers and aerial acrobatics. He’s able to alter his speed, magnitude force, velocity, and trajectory on himself and others to outmaneuver opponents, changing his direction and launching things with enhanced velocity in motion. Creating complex movements to enhance his reflexes and fluidity with curves or non-linear paths in waves, generating powerful energy blasts. Through using his protoplasms’ energy, Ritsueto alters the properties of vectors wih physical attributes, converting them into energized forms of decaying warps. On the defense, he’s able to deflect or redirect attacks or sources and create whirlpool gusts. Sometimes extending to bending reality to his will through distorting vectors to temporarily warp space for a tactical advantage such as generating enery fields, teleporting, altering gravity, negating elemenets or affecting quantum strings through distorting life and the environment. With the symbiotic Heliusseura inside Ritsueto’s rune, he is able to perform many things primarily with his Metagallion, Drazenith Zetsubou. Such as creating matter out of nothing through treating his protoplasms like quantum foam which affects the tangible and intangible with phases of expansion, often recycling the matter from the dead and absorbing their aelophis as distortional mass through a gravitational field. Allowing his body to expand more as he influences the cyclical processes of energy and matter. shifting the magnitude in his attacks through charging himself with a pressurized warp that shifts the power and size of his output. It can also influence his body in centrifugal and centripetal motion through creating sharp extensions of finned wings for angular movements.

The more energy added to Ritsueto internally, he becomes like a burst of energy with the output of his attacks being through pressurized mass of his protoplasms in parallel to the stored chemical energy of Ultfinite’s organic material. Whenever Ritsueto warps, the air is briefly twisted through the pressure he puts onto gravity. but only if an equal volume of protoplasms is allowed to go up against the force of gravity. performing unconventional maneuvers, such as making sharp turns without losing momentum, creating whirlpools of energy, or defying gravity to a certain extent. Ritsueto’s trails leave behind glowing energy ripples, shimmering distortions in the air or water. He adapts to different terrains seamlessly, allowing to transition between any environment. By reversing the direction of his movement vectors, he quickly warps back to a previous position. He can form distortional fields that shift the weight of objects with inertia and magnitude, entangles them through particles or reshapes them. If he wishes to make objects as light as a feather, he decreases their inertia. This also applies to himself, making him move quicker through acrobatics unless recovering from a charged attack. To keep his body in synchronization during interdimensional travel, Ritsueto uses phantasmic bolts to bind to keep himself and utilizes quick dashes through self-propulsion. Through manipulating the inertia of himself when properly stanced, Ritsueto’s Drazenith forms an accretion disk shield when parrying attacks or deflecting projectiles.

Playstyle and Moveset Plan

  • Ritsueto is a reversal and fluidity-oriented character that can move his attacks in different directions and has highly aggressive air-to-ground or ground-to-air combos by splitting his basic moves into different move strings or using his mobility to get into varying trajectories. His attacks generate entropy currents for supplementary attacks, defensive counterattacks and acrobatics for kanji arts tied to a spinning gear function on his Entropy Gauge that shifts between his Horizonboros and Phantom Stances. Utilizing heavy-hitting attacks and easily accessible combos through pausing between attacks to set up Vestiges (kanji-styled globe bolts) that influence attack trajectory, and timing the pause causes attacks to hit in multiple directions with heavy knockback after a delay. Delayed attacks react faster with supplementary moves or when countering enemies. Ritsueto’s trident slashes don’t trigger immediately, instead causing a discharge of powerful, wide-reaching defensive slashes with slower but higher damage output upon a short delay. The less delay between these slashes causes critical damage to increase, while longer delay creates a wave trail, causing his next hits to have altered properties with an aftershock that makes Ritsueto’s delayed attacks to overlap with each other, dealing high staggering damage upon linking his attacks and Vestiges. Stepping into Ritsueto’s aftershock lines grants attack speed buffs, continuing pressure on enemies.
  • Heavier hits and counteractions generate more Entropy while trajectory-altering attacks boosts points and combo duration. When Ritsueto gets attacked, his damage increases due to his great durability thus causes him to gain more strength over time. He struggles against enemies that are restrictive on him thus utilizes positioning to get control over an area. Attacks leave an echo Vestige. Pressing an input after a slash repeats the attack 2 seconds later in the same area, and can chain them together for multiple stored attacks explode in sequence or pull enemies together. When Ritsueto hasn’t taken damage and performs 3 successful reactive strings, his attacks auto-track weakened or buffed enemies and have guard-breaking properties.
  • Phantom can employ passive Vestiges to heal by deflecting attacks, create Climax-restoring fields, mark enemies with debuff curses or increase Copi points but drawing in essences can be used in-combat to hold and unleash powerful attacks of techniques to damage enemies without Ritsueto taking any damage, making him immune during it as indicated by an orange aura on Ritsueto. It enhances aerial dashes for swift dives and mid-air combos through enchanting attacks with Vestiges to cause critical damage and swiftly finish off enemies that are on low health. Having attacks that disrupt enemies with stun to cancel spell cards into other ones, while Ritsueto has charged dashes to evade or catch enemies as sudden bursts thus helps during tight spots.

Absorbing Vestiges grants temporary buffs:

  • Healing through deflection
  • Increased attack power with AoEs that distorts enemy movement
  • Climax-restoring fields
  • Ritsueto can hold absorbed Vestiges to unleash powerful, unblockable techniques, making him immune during activation.
  • Afterimage Dashes allow him to phase through enemy attacks, reposition, or immediately counter.
  • Enhanced mid-air options, including teleport-style dive strikes and extended juggles.
Drazenith

Drazenith Zetsubou: A double-sided combination of a jagged zanbato and a trident that causes decay with it’s attacks due to how it has a saber-like frequency, destroying the bonds between atoms and molecules due to how it negates aelophis. Ritsueto is a disruptive force that flexes his blade in elegance and connective nature with how he uses his flurrying attacks, extended techniques, outward curves, executional strikes, vertical chops, wave cuts, multi-directional bends and fluid rushes. Performing great feats such as larger blade transformation, molecular binding, mind splintering, matter distortion-melding (Phasing his blade through a melding distortion), spatial fabric-cutting, etc. Ritsueto can charge his binding distortion within his blade’s handle to draw in gravity for a triggered Iaido slash emitting the sword’s winding stream-pressure as a blasting ripple wave to counter any mutant potentially. Overdriving by disrupting the electric signal in their lifestream and can use his arm to crush someone with gravital pressure to forcefully transfigure and decay via a detonation, reversing any fusions. His electric signal disruptions come from his development to be the ultimate cure, projected into his body’s stream of energy as some type of anti-electromagnetic sap.

  • Ritsueto’s gills require constant aspiration through his Vaesir Drive to breathe and perceive properly, thus compensates by making his fighting style based around breathing out his attacks in direct force. Mimicking the nature of elements through curving his movement.

Drazenith Zetsubou is linked to a grappling set of rune-geared equipment that enables vertical maneuverability, set around Ritsueto’s waist as a bodily harness linked to a machine on his back known as a Vaesir Drive. The Vaesir Drive has batteries charged by protoplasm-atomic energy oversurging due to it attempting to mimic the Aether that came from it, and is administered with Ritsueto’s Arcane Drive labeled Laplace, the last Fermial of a lost continent. Laplace speaks in static and sends information of the precise location and momentum of every atom in the universe with past and future values, preparing Ritsueto for coordination in vertical movement. The Vaesir Drive is linked to Ritsueto’s brainwaves, allowing conversion for him and Isobel.

To maneuver more quickly, Ritsueto projects a phantasmic bolt from his side-equipment in the form of a talisman chain of magic amplification that he can use to either assault enemies or quickly warp himself toward it’s target. Blending into his surroundings by creating a warp illusion similar to the event horizon of a black hole, making him almost invisible or highly resistant to detection for a second. This works in unison with the materials in Drazenith Zetsubou allowing to cut through the weaknesses of mutants such as Ultfinites or Nosoimones. The phantasmic bolts are produced through Ritsueto consuming matter of fallen beings to produce an attracting light in the electromagnetic spectrum in the form of dark energy. Similarly to Gestalt Calibur, Drazenith Zetsubou can parry shots when entering a defensive block stance that turns Ritsueto around with the coated blade of Drazenith to reduce damage and countering toward a brief prompt. but doesn’t have any cancels when dodging or parrying.

Bellow Whip and Lance

In other cases, Ritsueto can either use his turn Drazenith into a bellow trident/glaive (Araquiel Surge/Monofilament Nighttail) through using it’s collapsible mechanisms to focus his abilities in a a Kenjutsu-like stance, swinging into multiple directions with rapid attacks fending multiple enemies back. Is able to retract with fin attachments, splitting the blade into twin tonfa sais that have functions similar to a harpoon and a javelin.

  • Basic Combos: Has a 5-slash combo with high knockback that has potential to be extensive depending on approach. First slash goes from downward to Ritsueto’s side, second slash goes diagonally upward multiple times and the last slash goes from above Ritsueto’s head to an outward thrust creating an electric vortex. Last slash isn’t heavy unlike Elpis thus has more freedom with using blade weapon, and can be held to send a shockwave trail but using double inputs with Phantom allows Ritsueto to rush at an enemy with a rapid slash that launches enemies backwards. This can be extended for 2 more slashes by pausing in the middle of the combo with fast slashes that summons phantasmic bolts floating around him, then can launch these bolts at enemies. Using Monofilament Mode makes his attacks mid-ranged with trailing slashes that spill out, and pausing makes Ritsueto do a multi-swing before sending a shocking wind with bolts falling around the arena as he bends his trajectory.
  • Aether’s Collapse Combos: Mid-air 5-slash combo utilizing winding slashes. Pausing extends to 3 more hits with a held aerial blow that repositions Ritsueto. This can be held in any direction to shift Ritsueto’s attack angle and boost stun.
  • Entropic Snare – Void: During a delay combo or after a series of hits, Ritsueto does abrupt trident slashes that send homing waves, moving around enemies caught in it’s range. This can be moved during each hit. Fully timing each hit leads to a combo-finishing slash that draws a Vestige symbol. This can be tossed at enemies as a projectile that can split into torrents when done at the end of an attack or used with Bolts to deliver a delay of eight-fold layered slashes from different angles before they converge into a single point that explodes, showering projectiles. Holding it causes him to slash across whatever bolts he has summoned.
  • Aerial Version of Entropic Snare – Void
  • Entropic Snare – Vestige Set-up: An attack for ground and mid-air that can be used to set up Vestiges during attacks. Ritsueto activates Vestiges after attacks to affect direction and can replicate attacks with them at the cost of energy via afterimages to attack rapidly. They have modes as either automatic projectiles, movement boosters, or stationary bolts. Functioning during held attacks, cartwheel dodges and dashes to bend his trajectory upward, forward, downward, or backwards.
  • Entropic Snare – Redirection: Enemies hit by a Vestige-infused attack of Ritsueto’s trident can be thrown for distance, pulled forward to close gaps, bounced them against surfaces for follow-ups / cancels, or slammed to suspend them into mid-air via spikes. Using multiple Vestiges in a row stacks effects and triggers a chargeable AoE.
  • Entropic Snare – Haftorang Field: Ritsueto creates an enemy-staggering zone before calling out torrents, thus allowing him to transfer damage on multiple stunned enemies. Enemies in the field have slower movement and will be hit by heavier damage. Vestiges marked with the field can also do the same, such as being placed on walls or floors to repel enemies away.
  • Entropic Snare – Haftorang Volley: Simultaneously using Vestige and basic attacks with the Haftorang Field leads to Ritsueto using 3-5 slash with Vestiges before bursting the field. If multiple enemies are hit by a Vestige, the force redirects them into each other with high knockback.
  • Polarizing Ebb: Ritsueto crosses Drazenith’s trident for a tonfa slash as he fans out his blade for a counter and cancels out attacks to build up a longer combo window. This branches into different attacks that place a Vestige on enemies such as an evading backwards stab + heavy swing against quick/multi-hit attacks, a parrying punch against powerful singular strikes, an aerial / anti-air string, or an omni-directional grab reversal that works in mid-air. Charging parries or taunting before blocking allows Ritsueto to do a counter slash with high knockback, levitating an enemy upward with a dash, unleashing a set of phantasmic slashes on the enemy before digging his claws across them as they decay. This buffs Ritsueto with super armor and increased counter-damage, creating shockwaves upon deflecting or countering enemies.
  • Ritsueto’s Vestiges causes varying debuffs upon a counter when charged with a gauge portion, such as causing critical / guard-breaking damage on his attacks, lowering enemy speed / attack / defense, or disabling enemy buffs.
  • Dissoluting Breeze: Ritsueto can dash 3 times on ground that can be interrupted mid-way to bend the direction and does damage to enemies on contact to leave a bolt trail on them as a zip-point. Mid-air dashes can send down homing projectiles at enemies and damage those caught in it’s way. When held, Ritsueto goes into an aura-covered flight mode with his trident avoiding damage temporarily as he does a rapid drill stab (Torrential), lashing out with a decaying tornado that push back enemies as he spins Drazenith. The follow-up makes him do a lunging low slash and a slams to push away enemies or cancel out their attacks. Ritsueto can repeat this attack through warping, alternating how Ritsueto shoves into enemies by targeting vital organs on the body.
  • Aerial Breeze: While airborne, Ritsueto enters a hover stance that can intangibly dash through enemies in a slash when they are marked with his phantasmic bolt, firing out crescent slashes. Mid-dash Ritsueto can change his trajectory with directional inputs, cancelling his dash with a heavy crescent.
  • Cyclone Scale and Squall: A chargeable upward launch-dash (Styled in a Battojustsu stance) with easier held follow-up attacks due to how it unleashes a surge of protoplasms beneath Ritsueto after he briefly teleports forward. Charging creates a suction force to sweep in enemies. Using continuous bolt follow-ups makes Ritsueto use multiple delayed slashes of wind keeping enemies suspended.
  • Zephyr Eventide: Can perform a descending tsunami-like spin slash after pressing downward attack in midair, rolling down and leaving behind afterimages. Also can perform a rolling propeller slash while dashing, going past enemies and shredding them, ending with a flipping slam. Monofilament spins downward with a plunge while sending rising blades that are in the form of dark lightning, stabbing a Vestige into the ground and leaving a flag banner that can transform into a ?. Using bolts sends out multiple waves.
  • Izuna Drop: A finisher for mid-air, altering for ground combat
  • Ritsueto is able to run up wall surfaces and move from side to side. When getting off walls, RItsueto flips in a curved direction. He can attack an enemy from behind with a dive attack when getting off a wall surface. Perches on edges or walls to snipe at enemies unless he gets hit by an enemy’s projectile.
  • Hurricane Galatine: Flashes spiked protoplasms from the hilt of his blade, jabbing enemies with a counter and charges to aim a wide slash that cuts through entropic debris after performing heavy damage on an enemy. This can combo in 4 entropic bolts swirling enemies together if they’re nearby
  • Bound Pull: Quick-draw spin that slashes outward with a tonfa-sai slash going upward then downward, leaving behind a trail of bolts and pulls in enemies with a blackhole. When using lock-on on an enemy that’s pulled in, Ritsueto performs a spinning piledriver onto them. Pushes close-ranged enemies away and cancels out moves.
  • Turning inwards slash and an outwards slash that’s wide, chargeable to form long-ranged twirling slashes for ground and mid-air. This can be used during side-steps for an alternating slash from Drazenith collapsing downward.
  • Flips over an enemy with overhead multi-slashes, interrupting enemy attacks with an energy swirl that propels him in any direction upon cancelling an attack. Can flip back and forth by kicking off multiple enemies, increasing damage.
  • Clouded Division: To catch enemies in the air or keep them suspended, Ritsueto can use a held attack to send several slashes upward. This can be followed up with a held input to extend it’s length
  • Backwards slash reaching enemies that are behind Ritsueto
  • Lunges in for a counter-offensive grab to enemies that are about to attack Ritsueto from the front
  • Aquatic Cloth: Ritsueto bends his cape to form a giant beast launching enemies away
  • Vector Rampage: Ritsueto charges up vectors to release a delayed entropic burst of energy, dealing area-of-effect damage to surrounding foes thus is ideal for controlling the battlefield in tight situations
  • Rebound Cross: When holding attack with a summoned bolt’s lock-on, Ritsueto will unleash a rebound wave of arched blasts on an enemy from a direction dealing increased damage. Which increases depending on how many drones he has summoned. This can cancel out Ritsueto’s basic attacks and be followed up with a “neo slash” using both Drazenith and Surge extending to 4 hits. Pausing in the middle of the combo makes Ritsueto fling his Hayate Buster around as he uses it’s scabbard for sharp slashes extending to 6 hits.
  • Austrinus Typhoon: If Ritsueto holds his attack when stationary and taps the input on time with each whirl, he’ll rapidly spin with his trident and displaces enemies when deflecting their attacks before doing a sharp finisher. Using double inputs creates extra bolts with multi-hits for a wider slash, summoning propeller slashes through a gravital field to form a large shuriken-like orb shot that bounces across the area, spreading out with each hit to expand into a vortex crushing enemies. During this attack, he can move left to right against walls, causing himself to bounce upward. Charging creates a multi-hitting mandala of orbs that causes multi-hits and is passive for a short duration, trapping enemies and will stay in place.
  • Torrential Swath: Held torrent shot with constant damage scattering it’s shots either vertically or horizontally after charging. Ritsueto can attack his own Vestige to turn into a torrent shot of multi-bolts with splitting shots. Sending bolts mid-shot toward a direction causes Ritsueto to rearrange his shot position. This shot can be held in a direction, rapidly sweeping enemies away from it’s path. It also repowers broken machinery or recharges it during Missions.
  • Galestorm Cutter: A series of fast multi-slashes followed by a thrust for ground and air. Can be cancelled for an overhead slash forward that reaches between ground and mid-air, a held thrust with heavy knockback, or an anti-air stab.
  • Inertia Gale: Spell card taking three wheels from the Onyx Black-out’s gauge, doing a wide slash across enemies but when holding it with a full bar it activates Onyx Black-out with an explosive slash
  • Baptismal Downpour: Spell card where Ritsueto zig-zags across the arena before he stabs his blade into the ground, sending a trident beam shot of wind fountains while clones swirl around him, before doing a finisher. This cancels out any jumps.
  • Zip-rain: Downward blade-dive attack performed in mid-air to send Ritsueto diagonally toward an enemy below, creating a blast on impact. Attacking in mid-air makes Ritsueto do an outward shredding slash.
  • Creates a mid-air platform to either perch on or slide on, being able to dive from it or throw out phantasmic bolts that he sets up for damage or to maneuver in his basic attacks
  • Blink Strike: Using lock-on in the middle of a dash cancels it for Ritsueto to teleport for repositioning, allowing for a quick hit whether when going from below to above or vice versa. Dodging with it causes a crescent slice that sweeps enemies. Can teleport away from an enemy when nearly hit by an attack, performing a stealthy counterattack
  • Taunt: Taunting enemies causes them to be more powerful with more damage, making Ritsueto be more evasive in exchange for more power. Increased damage allows Ritsueto to break armor and dice enemies to ribbons for easier executions. Taunted enemies can’t be blocked or parried and they will cause more damage as a consequence for increasing points. Blocking isn’t recommended unless using counter parries. Heavy attacks negates damage
  • Takedown: Has stealth takedowns on unsuspecting enemies
  • Enenra Maelstrom: Spell card as a continuous flowing slash with dimensional afterimages scattering from a shower of waves before releasing a slam of lightning from his trident.
  • Spell card that creates creatures that home in on enemies. Levi will appear out of a rift which slows down enemies caught inside, attacking with surged protoplasms.
  • Cetus’ Maw: Latches onto enemies to drain 1.2% of their health passing each second to regenerate his energy until they have no more, killing them unless they’re hit again while latched if the player doesn’t need the health or is already full. Can reach higher places to grab items, pull towards points or hit enemies that are below or above, and performs grab counters against enemies snatching their weapons and can form into a stretching wire-like armblade within the Hayate Busters’ hilts to swing or slingshot Ritsueto across marked mid-air orbs. Pulling Ritsueto towards enemies allows him to follow with melee attacks.
  • Tunneling Self: Dodging creates a decoy inside of an urn, allowing Ritsueto to phase through obstacles or enemies briefly by holding the dodge to maneuver around. Releasing the dodge does a counterattack.
  • Tempest Queller: Can charge up while idle to spin sword and reinforce defense with used enemy health, creating a whirlwind of blades that cuts up surrounding enemies. Slows down marked enemies.
  • Quantum Infusion: Forms connections between enemies and/or objects to influence their properties
  • Singularity Entanglement: Can fire off segments then pull them back with a charged attack via Phantom. Finned wings can be used to aim at targets. In mid-air, Ritsueto can lift any grounded enemies through gravity in Phantom
  • Murmuring Currents: Can charge and aim to send large slash waves that are short-range on ground and air. But the waves will shrink if and will deal more damage when used in closer proximity. Can be angled upwards or downwards, automatically aimed towards tagged targets and will bypass walls, dealing low damage to stronger enemies.
  • Can tag multiple enemies at once to set a quick cut charging with precognition, then releasing a blade ripple warping to them with a slash. Momentum from the warps gives more energy.
  • Distortional Array: Slides around with Drazenith, gliding along a wave before stepping on it’s handle to kick it towards enemies. Can be used to circle around enemies, enveloping them in a tornado.
  • Banishment: Lunging low slash then a flip slash and a held launch follow-up that has a powerful blow knocking enemies with trails. Marked enemies will be swept in constant knockback when holding the final blow.
  • Nautic Quills: Summons phantasmic spears around himself to rapidly pierce onto enemies, enhancing his attacks with instant charges and increases points gained. When surrounding an enemy, the spears will decrease their damage and requires Ritsueto to stay in range for the effect to be maintained. Can cause bolts to push in enemies from both sides to create a vacuum pocket blowing incoming attacks, or restrict incoming enemies from below. Works in mid-air.
  • Recovery: When Ritsueto is recovering from knockback, he can stab his glaive downward to launch himself back forward in a flying kick if done twice
  • Throws half of Drazenith around the area before swinging himself over with a revolving kick that blasts the ground in trails of electrified waters before slamming down. The throw can be charged to trigger Torrential, sweeping enemies and alters Ritsueto’s dashes into sprints with endless phantasmic slashes until Drazenith returns.
  • Great Urn: Stabs downward with trident, creating a trident spraying out phantasmic surges in front of him for enemies far away or close. Charging it causes Ritsueto smash the ground repeatedly before sweeping upward with summoned spears from thrown discs around him. He can sweep these spears upward or downward.
  • Nirvana Punishment: An execution that requires to catch in an enemy perfectly for efficient damage, cutting an enemy in two
  • Vortex Shredder: Quick charge releasing a vortex attack spinning vertically or horizontally around Ritsueto and does constant damage to enemies caught in, juggling them before they burst
  • Shockwave Chain: Ritsueto moves forward with overhead swings from his trident before slamming on aerial enemies to keep them down with 4 entropic vectors across the ground, and a grounded slash that draws enemies to Ritsueto before rapidly slashing a wave into them after a brief wind-up. Holding after this attack creates a zone where enemies are heavier but Ritsueto is lighter, chaining attacks easier.
  • Ritsueto’s Ultimate Attack is Abyssal Screech, performing a series of lightning-fast strikes, seamlessly switching between each weapon and culminating in a fluid chain of 4 wide and curved slashes then wiping the entire screen with chains that dispense waves of tidal lightning with his slashes interconnecting with one another’s trajectory before ending swiftly.
Rolling Thunder

Rolling Thunder: A pair of jet-powered clawing gauntlets and grieves that can summon multiple hands. Drazenith can shift into winged fin extensions for Ritsueto with scythe/sai-like blaster tonfas which hilts Rolling Thunder with his maneuvering gear, the Hayate Busters (Labeled IZ-PUNISHER). The Hayate Busters use high-pressure jet magazines in the form of hilts that provide powering cells to them to fire blade-shaped projectiles via Laplace that have low damage. When firing projectiles, Ritsueto slashes with his Hayate Buster to unload the magazine in thrusts and can chain damage with Drazenith. Usage of this weapon stance allows Ritsueto to perform attacks that can bypass blocking enemies but can be interrupted easier during combos. It can bend the trajectory of Ritsueto’s movement, attacks and projectiles. Said to be ripped from a long-forgotten Behemoth that clashed with the Leviathan. It acts similar to Elpis’ Telesphorus variation of Bulwark, albeit not retaining the same emphasis on defense. Instead being more direct and using attacks that send water-like waves from the Hayate Buster’s blades. Is good at doing sneak attacks but mistakes when using Rolling Thunder may be very costly in health. Works well with Hayate Busters to shift approach easier. Finishers leave behind afterimages of Volans for sustained damage. Allows Ritsueto to curve shots around obstacles or guide them towards targets with pinpoint accuracy, making it deadly at close and long ranges. It has the capability of altering the molecular structure of whatever they hit through adjusted vectors, leading to creative effects like turning solid objects into liquid or gas. Gains more energy from enemies that are taunted.

Ranged combat for Ritsueto’s Hayate Busters is weaker than Elpis’ PB-Railbuster. Even if it does good against lesser enemies, it cannot fire through walls nor be used as well while moving, but it can aim in multiple directions due to Ritsueto’s trajectory. Firing at enemies up close repels them.

  • Performs 3 combined hits with Drazenith’s sword and trident as twin tonfa-sais while rushing into enemies. Pausing between each hit extends to an extra attack before doing rapid hits.
  • Spins upward with an anti-air tonfa-sai kick, then spins downward from above with a twister as he stabs downward with shockwaves. Works in mid-air.

The clap can be held for a rapid attack that redirects enemies from any direction. Countering an enemy with it results in a spinning hook kick.
  • Hayate Shot: Lock-on orb shots sending a stream of projectiles that can be done while moving. Holding dodges allows for a Hayate shot follow-up turning the orbs into gravital waves/torrents.
  • Divine Wrath: Slashing downward while in mid-air has Ritsueto dive and chop downward, sending a cross wave while he rotates and is chargeable. Dashing afterward with an attack causes Ritsueto to do a short hop before he fires a blast.
  • Decay Acceleration: Chargeable palming punch and elbow sending out dark energy, can be followed up with Ritsueto slamming his palm onto the ground to push an enemy. Follow-up attack grabs enemies to cause their health to be drained slowly.
  • Disastrous: If Ritsueto holds during the first 2 attacks of his combo then follows up with forward light attacks, he performs a rotating dropkick with increasing damage. If this is held, the direction is controlled and will lengthen. third combo sends shockwave blasts before he pulses in a whirling overhead.
  • Flux Halt: Parries freezes in an enemy in place, allows Ritsueto to clothesline an enemy as a counter attack.
  • Swooping Peril: Forward-leaning mid-air combo that’s chargeable as it descends to an enemy ahead with rapid hits.
  • Soaring Blow: Twirling multi-uppercut kick with a wide reach as Ritsueto jumps upward, looping to release a phantasmic bolt. Can grab an incoming enemy when held, holding them into the sky and restrains them but has minimal range. Having 2 grab follow-ups to send them away or a spinning throw where Ritsueto does a flipping split kick with two fields on his legs.
  • Monsoon Rider: Shredding somersault kick flipping into enemies in front or behind Ritsueto
  • Downward punch that sends 2 aerokinetic shockwaves bending outward in a curved direction, before they cross together

This can also be done when he’s back-dashing or is in mid-air. If he charges during the dash and releases it afterward, he’ll do a sharp punch that sends a cloud burst through his magnitude.
  • Warpstorm Onslaught: Rapid kick that’s initially slow but is quicker in follow-ups. It’s follow-up has Ritsueto do a handstand flarekick before twisting to do a wide swing hitting all enemies in range. When in mid-air, Ritsueto can wind up a quick barrage of kicks that sends enemies flying across the area. Hits either frontal, upward, or downward.
  • Moonwalk on downed enemies, and can also grab them.

  • Swirling Chaos: To knock enemies and juggle them on ground and mid-air, Ritsueto charges before throwing 2 propeller-like blades from Hayate Busters as it unleashes swirling blades that shreds enemies away with multi-damaging stun, followed by a charged shot. The second propeller blade can be thrown to the opposite side, above or below him. Throwing it then dashing makes Ritsueto temporarily ride the propeller, catching in enemies instantly.
  • Oblivion Flash: Spell card where Ritsueto combines Rising Thunder’s palms together to unleash a devastating blast. Grabbing an enemy causes Ritsueto to do a rapid combo of ground attacks until finishing off the opponent in a burst after grabbing them by the face before unleashing a discharge of energy from an open palm uniting with the other hand..

Onyx Black-out (Enigma Trigger – Rework TBA): Ritsueto is able to enter a powerful amorphous form of metallic antimatter where he removes his miraculous anti-miasmic skull mask breathing it and impaling Drazenith Zetsubou back into his chest to convert into a faulty form of a reincarnated Haos with the emulating Vaesir Drive breaking the mask Ritsueto wears. In this mode he is in a state of complete tranquility, fully empowered with his nagamani rune to punish incoming enemies but is limited in effectiveness due to how numerous or faster attacks could break through. When used only on half of it’s bar, Ritsueto summons a spectral infernal copy of Haos fighting with him when using an Ex Arm to enter a dual-wield state for crowd control rapidly sending phantasmic bolts, but can be desummoned from Drazenith by being bound within a thurible-like cocoon device linked to it. Multiplies score points but the multiplier depends on the amount of enemies killed fueling the Onyx Black-out’s gauge from certain amounts, filling the weapon or Ex Arm with essence and allowing for instant full charge special skills but will bank the score if performed.

  • Ritsueto can cycle through multiple lost Bio-Armed Metagallion abilities with Onyx Black-out as a skeletal Haos, enhancing his secondary weapons.
  • Enemies are constantly drawn into Ritsueto for the duration of Onyx Black-out
  • However, Onyx Black-out sheds Ritsueto’s bodily layers and is more swifter in exchange. Exposing those nearby to corrosion from the Tehom energies.
  • Similarly to Enigmatic Trigger, Onyx Black-out has a cursed burst when holding all gauge meters then releasing

Ex Arms: Ritsueto takes fragments of his enemy’s soul and binds it into his Vaesir Drive. Ex Arms mutate Ritsueto’s right arm with variation rune codes that aren’t put into control, simply integrating with Ritsueto’s predatory fighting style by monstrous two alien samples hybridizing, causing some mental effect. Elpis and Ritsueto share many thematic parallels with each other:

  • Elpis, with his black attire and focus on truth and self-perception, represents a quest for purity and understanding. His synesthetic perception of colors ties him to his past, emotions, and aspirations for spiritual awareness. On the other hand, Ritsueto’s white attire and emphasis on stability and adaptation showcase a commitment to collectivism and strength amid challenges.
  • The snake-themed twisting, bending, and rotating nature of Elpis’ design contrasts with Ritsueto’s fish-themed movement akin to flowing water, suggesting two distinctive approaches to maneuvering and adapting to challenges. Both fish and snakes occupy different environments within the ecosystem. Fish are primarily aquatic creatures, thriving in water bodies like rivers, lakes, and oceans. On the other hand, snakes are terrestrial and can be found in various habitats such as forests, grasslands, deserts, and swamps. Fish and snakes have distinct physical characteristics. Fish have sleek, streamlined bodies designed for efficient movement in water, equipped with fins and scales. Snakes, on the other hand, have elongated bodies, scales, and venomous fangs in some species, facilitating their survival on land. Fish are agile swimmers that can move swiftly and change direction rapidly in water. Contrastingly, snakes are known for their slithering motion on land, utilizing their muscle contractions to move smoothly across various terrains. Fish represent emotions and adaptability while snakes represent cunning and flexibility.
