Ritsueto

RITSUETO

Ritsueto Remina, the Abyss-chained Omen of Chaos, is the regal prince of the Abyssal Empire and the anti-villainous deuteragonist of the BioMassCore’s storyline, serving as the rival to Elpis. He is known infamously by his Homunculi title as the 0th Obyrith, Haos Powehi and has had a reputation for a destructive incident in his ritualistic birth. He was formerly a part of a special ghostly clan unit of Black Obyrith used in the Lux Order of Providence, whom secretly used them for research and saw them as outdated compared to their other unit that overthrown them when the Lux Order betrayed the Abyssal Empire after numerous records of conflict between the two factions. In his wander across history, Ritsueto wishes to find purpose in life within his kingdom’s expansion and cure impure existence.

History – Past

Azathoth, the chaotic abyss desired an advancement for his desire-filled beasts to be more capable for the sake of the Zodiac intertwined with him, Pisces, to be preserved. Reaching out to an Astrable scientist within an hourglass-like tower of the Nebulas, known as Menzel Domicile whom descends out of a lineage from a certain civilization. They formed a pact with each other for Menzel to help in creation of an eye conduit in exchange for Equinox’s extra-dimensional resources of Tehom. Menzel desired a way of expansion, developing a biological and genetical research lab-birth facility on top of crater-like ruins of a husk forged into the Astral Planes. This techno-organic ark facility would be named Ground Zero HQ, where Black Obyrith would be born with a central sector of the Void Embryo, involving bio-engineering of nano-infestant dust materials and restraining combustions of life-stream within symbiotic strands he formed into bodily weapons of the Black Obyrith via enigmatic runestones. These symbiotic strands he found out were used in a form of weaponry by a Harbinger deep within the well of souls of a borderworld in preparation of dimensional conquering. Processes of Ground Zero HQ would be administered by a bio-computer within the area, while a side-project of Demo-labeled living batteries would be developed.

Menzel would reach out to an ancestral figure of his in creation of a bio-cyborg mutant of Pisces heritage known as Volans meant to counter the legacy of the forbidden Zodiac, as Pisceans had a connection with Tehom. Volans was made with an infinite cellular gear energy source of hyper-enhanced power output and perception-warping mobility unintentionally created by accident with strands and materials of radioactive nature within downpouring tunnels. He had cloned DNA of the first of ancestral Fermial psychic beings within him and was paired with amalgam subjects of humanoids forcefully transplanted with alien DNA captured in Ex Arm weapons. A back-up blueprint would be set up in preparation of complications with Volans. Such complications would come to be, with Menzel considering Volans a failure and Volans attempted to go out of his way in grudged feelings toward his target. Causing Menzel to send a scouting team for him while Volans stuck with someone he saw as a mother figure, maddened at his defeat and fighting as much as he can to keep his free will, shaping into Fermials contained within an Ex Arm slot after being hit with a feedback pulse to go out in rage of ruining the name of the forbidden Zodiac. Leading to how Volans would be considered on banishment of living from Equinox when being found washed up in the abyssal seas decapitated, protruding tendrils from his neck and an unknown body. He was put under torture for his failure through starvation, cutting into his symbiotic tissues, etc.

Leading to the occultist project named Haos. Black Obyrith born through Volans would go into a long harvest of resources to feed the Void Embryo until the time was right. And Menzel would input various augmentations such as his energy source, and the creation of a Metagallion blade embedded within his body to automatically armorize him with hardened flesh known as Drazenith Zetsubou processed through a trio of bio-computers with an accursed spiritual force. With psychic warps arising from subjects that had inherited Proto-Ultfinite-related genes from the Adeptus Era, Menzel assigned a biological agent within the brain of the processing life-form within the Void Embryo, made for purging infected of radiating strands. This would be pumped underground into the Void Embryo via syringe-like root machines feeding it a nano-toxin of disfiguring chemicals. Menzel’s ancestral ties would reach back and assign advanced resources onto him harvested from more organic roots to hunt down the primary target of mutant radiation, whom they have constantly searching upon. Menzel would find a consort worthy enough to be the Abyssal Empress from a Hermetic Order, named Aheri. Whom was very knowledgeable of the Astral Planes and how it was created, attuning to it’s source matter. To which Menzel surveyed her for this source matter as part of his research, doing illegal excavations within the Astral Planes and finding reptillian-like bone structures imbued with similar blood-like dark energy within the primaldian space that Black Obyrith are formed in contrast of. These bone structures were connected to an earlier modeled life-form of runic hierarchial energies that was encapsulated within an ancient lake, carrying an eternal brain engine and a warp-inducing organ shared across it’s body.

Menzel would artificially form a phantom runestone of collective distortional warp energies involving these bones, extracting materials from a husk torso of Volans that he uses as the main body infused with remnants of a forgotten prototype. It bonded to multiple fragments of lost Bio-Armed Metagallions to build itself better after infusing with the biological agent within Ritsueto’s brain. Through surgical means, the Void Embryo would be transplanted into Aheri for a perfect Abyssal Queen to be linked within the inheritance of the oncoming birth of an Abyssal Prince. An amass of Black Obyrith circled around Aheri in time of the birth, making ritualistic chants as Aheri would slowly have wave-like rumbles send out through her body. It would become more rampant the longer the birth took as Menzel administrated in Equinox’s wait. Eventually, an advanced Homunculi labeled Haos would deposit out of Aheri’s womb, greatly injuring the c-section of Aheri’s womb. Haos appeared to be extremely veiny with runestone lines surging through-out his body. However, this would make the first Black Obyrith who would inherit the perfected gene of Equinox. After this birth, Menzel wanted to “make arrangements” with Haos due to his internal desire from an effect prior to his birth. To which they would come to an agreement as Equinox would try to deal with the issue of Aheri’s c-section. Menzel’s arrangements were a hard-wiring of Haos’ biological agent within his brain, sending him out on a spree of killing those deemed non-overcome radiating mutants that were a danger to society, few such being the Vessels like Elpis whom would barely escape with his life after the encounter.

Haos would be hailed as a chaotic savior by masses of primaldians that survived a past age and were being constantly heard out by Zodiacs. Their higher-ups within the Nebulas would also gain knowledge of a hidden spread of fearful nano-toxin and spectral nightmare figures with it, influencing the morality and the rationality of beliefs within people. However, he had a bio-systemic malfunction leading to him being sent back into Menzel’s station within a electronically sealed pod as he would engineer a bio-program. Equinox, catching wind of the situation was impressed with the statistics of Haos, continuing to co-operate with Menzel to check the flaws on him and improve on it. After a stasis, Equinox believed the more proper way for Haos’ development would be settling him within lower units of the Astrables’ military. As Equinox wanted Black Obyrith in their units for higher conscious development. Haos would be taken under care of Aheri but unknowingly sent footages of primaldian education by Menzel. He would eventually become a wandering clan mercenary by the name of Ritsueto, with a religious code against uprising viral mutants and a perfected look in his conscious awakening. His clan involved Obyrith subjects injected with similar feedback pulses that Ritsueto had as Volans, granting them variations of DNA from the Ex Arm slot by Menzel and they all settled within a leurian home continent known as Tiakolep Xeviosa. Ritsueto would be paired with an ill humanoid girl he suspected of being dangerous by his antivirus-like nature, but eventually sees that it is not of a similar case. As this girl of unknown name would have a neurotic infestation that Ritsueto first wouldn’t understand very well or take that seriously. But would be driven by ambition to not be a mere common warrior, seeking out power from a trace that had struck within his birth and would lead to his gaining of his Drazenith Zetsubou Metagallion with an implantation of his inner organic rune.

Unknowingly, a second pregnancy within Aheri was in preparation which raised suspicion of Equinox. However, Aheri states there was some semblance of Equinox’s gene remaining. At first examinations for if the baby was of some forced infestation within her causing to have this. To which Aheri refused and assured him it would be fine due to her wanting Ritsueto to have someone else than her that has humanly knowledge to take care of him. Opportunity however was seen for a “failsafe” to Ritsueto. The second day of birth would emerge, where Aheri would have a similar situation as Ritsueto’s birth. But she suddenly began to have the energetic waves of the gene manifest as insectoid-like arms within her stomach that threatened the child’s birth. Aheri demanded Equinox to take heavy measures, causing Equinox to attempt to apply medium pressure of conceiving on Aheri to make sure the child doesn’t suffocate within her womb in a lengthened process. Eventually, the child would be released but with a blue streaming color across it’s body. Aheri had breathed her last breaths, dying in the aftermath of the birth which had enraged many of the Black Obyrith whom considered the child to be a cursed spawn and not one of theirs. Equinox held back his anger at his people whom demanded the slaying of the child, hiding the child away to handle it’s streaming exacosmic infestation that is wrapped around it’s bones as a form of life-stream. Menzel would assist in extracting the exacosm stored within the child, and he and Equinox would go through illegal measures of harvesting asterisps and compressing them into a smelted body which he would transplant the child into, as some type of anti-Obyrith shell for it to properly grow.

Poseidon and the Astrables would be enraged by this, considering Equinox a traitor to the river of stars’ aligning and thus replaced the Black Obyrith in their military with their rival race. With his own people and the Astrables at confliction of him, Equinox kept his newborn a secret. He would tell Ritsueto about this, and in response he fell into a saddened state. Ritsueto believed that his birth was what caused Aheri to die and nearly cost the life of his new sibling. Equinox would assign the child to Ritsueto’s care, forcing Ritsueto only depend merely on his own Obyrith abilities. The child would eventually become Isobel Remina, whom was not deemed Abyssal Princess in order to keep her protected from the public eye. The exacosmic extraction would affect Isobel’s eyes, making her see colors differently. In light of news behind Aheri’s death, her brother decided to raise Ritsueto within his clan until leaving for his own aspirations and feeling that he wouldn’t be a good role model for him. There would be in-fighting within the Obyrith regarding the rage of Poseidon and Isobel’s position, driving them to start an idea of genetic purity where they saw other races as lesser species due to them being the original matter, thinking that all life are simply split from them via light or are mere reflections. This started in-breeding to recreate their own matter creating a race known as the Tiakonites but their creation would start sterilizing the Obyrith, worrying Ritsueto as the Genesis War surfaces. During the Genesis War, Tiakolep is enveloped within a dimensional tunnel with an invasion from the surfaces of the planade’s meteoric crater. Equinox attempted to preserve the Tiakonites via the Spiral Lords, with them both coming to the belief that they both need Equinox in his original form in unison with Aeloriva to save themselves.

This led to Ritsueto venturing for a mysterious runic tablet structure of a divine ring that would allow him to protect his empire via the spectrum of the Miraculous Wavesong but would be interfered by the council of a united order of Inquisitors that saw it as sacrilege, starting a fight between him and the Spiral Lords against the Inquisitors, which ends up causing a shattered pulse within the tablet structure releasing an enigmatic will searching for it’s “central matter” Tears within super-dimensional space were induced from an uncontrollable warp of space and time collapsing the environment, separating everyone but Ritsueto from the splintered structure. The Omen had then been missing, being searched by the Spiral Lords and Abyssal Empire with the only rumor of him being believed to have become bound to his Drazenith Zetsubou and associated with the myth of a colossal being known a Kelranzom Lambda that emerged in World War X, until a mysterious signal from a seer of the Abyssal Empire would bring the answer in Generation 1.

Personality

Ritsueto carries a ferocious, smooth and collected but passive-aggressive attitude within him characterized by his wild Homunculi instincts that are “converted” into a form of charisma. Helping him be a great figure to command people and drive them with motivation. He somewhat also puts this charisma into his false humanoid form, giving it a snarky look with closed eyes and a constant smile that is never wiped off his face. This false humanoid form he uses to sometimes speak in an antiquated way to blend in and often sneak onto his prey. Similarly to Elpis, he has a soft side for those he cares for, largely based on his empathy. He’s deeply intuitive to others’ thoughts, granting a decent insight on how a person act. Yet he doesn’t see the Metagallions of Armigers as people, instead seeing them as tools and byproduct.

He values stability through collective strength, viewing that people are purposed to find links amongst themselves to reinforce their social orders in enforcement against threats of their mother land. Which causes him to commonly remind others of the standard to hold up stability within society, making him somewhat perfectionistic. As he vocally despises those he considers whiny or childish thus sees them as disruptive to common collection making him often avoid encounters with children if he feels it dishonors him. This also plays into how he sees Armigers as mere tools for stability thus doesn’t have much value for Metagallions, as he believes the ones that are too weak to keep stability or honor do not deserve genetic purity. Due to his design was intended and how he was shapened to eventually take the role of Abyssal Emperor in his father’s absence, Ritsueto is fearless and kills without second thought preferring enforcement instead of persuasion. In opposition of Elpis, Ritsueto embraces his heritage in feelings of excitement thus makes him compulsive enough to rush into danger unlike Elpis’ cautious tentativeness. Despite his compulsion, he maintains a personal set of honoring morals and disciplines, such as how he hates using firearms or fighting dirty. In adaptation in the environment put around him by Aheri, Ritsueto has come to enjoy marine biology and water-related environments in general as it makes him feel closer to his home land, specifically during stormy times at aquatic areas.

He has a distain for the color of his eyes due to it restraining from seeing the envisioned reality he wants to see whole. Feeling that the clear eyes represent him being stuck within a dream that he wishes to make true. In fights he is merely motivated by the intent of surviving in defense as opposed to Elpis being motivated to win thus pushes harder to achieve his ends to his means. Ritsueto thrives on assimilation, drawing different traits from every opponent he faces in parallel to how Elpis adapts. As a result of how he prefers to pays attention to his surroundings and learns how to work with them. When confronted with new challenges, Ritsueto doesn’t falter; instead, he embraces them as opportunities to learn and grow. However, he only chooses to fight those who accept his challenge, wanting to earn strength rather than steal it individually from someone.

Relationships

  • Equinox: Equinox often claims he has Ritsueto’s best interests at heart, steering him into his way so that his individuality doesn’t go loose with his instincts as he feels Ritsueto is the most perfect of his Obyrith and doesn’t want that to be tainted. But Ritsueto feels distant from Equinox in a sense of confusion with their general bond. Something that Equinox constantly attempts to re-assure him with before Aheri’s death, which had caused Ritsueto to make his attachment focused on Equinox. Ritsueto doesn’t want the image that made him to be lost like the woman that brought him his emotions. Equinox however refuses to accept Ritsueto sobbing for him, and never wants to see him saddened when his existence eventually must fade. Ritsueto generally attempts to keep himself tame in fear of shaming his lineage and keeping Equinox impressed. He fears that if he were to shame Equinox that his potential lineage would be tainted with the simplest mistake, thus not even by command but by instinct he’d slit his arms with his own fingers if he felt he has done something his father didn’t appreciate. This is part of his general honorful code in religion.

  • Aheri: Ritsueto believed Aheri was someone of free mind and pure individuality. He had found things to care about before and after her death. Aheri was essentially the one that indirectly gave him his own sense of sentience by teaching him the meanings behind emotions that he didn’t understand well. As part of a sign of appreciation, Ritsueto feels attached to her in a way that he wanted to impress her to feel like he’s ascending to different signs of emotions with his free will. Ritsueto keeps his amulet as part of remembering Aheri.

  • Isobel: Ritsueto often feels that he needs to “slap up” Isobel into his way of thinking for her to be next to him in his eventual place of being an Abyssal Emperor. He feels she’s very caterpillar-like in her eventual growth. However he feels a deep insecurity if she’s ever in public due to her society’s general consensus about thinking Isobel “killed” Aheri in birth. Thus somewhat his attitude of babying Isobel comes from his deep fear of her being executed by his fellow Obyrith kind out of misjudgment or being hunted by Astrables to extract the asterisps melded in her body. As Ritsueto sees Isobel like the last half of Aheri left in his life. He ensures to never break a promise with her in order to prevent any bad omens in their family.

  • Nahid: Due to Ritsueto being assigned by Menzel to stick with Nahid after World War X, it would be no surprise the two grew to have some close bond. Despite Ritsueto wanting to hide his emotions due to Aheri, Nahid was the one that made him want to express his emotions more like how he had shown hers as part of her nature. Ritsueto initially felt pity on her as if there was a blight on her that would eventually wash off. But Nahid’s innocence caused him to want to find out what is it that he wanted to strive for in his life and what he was going to fight to the end for. Nahid often treated Ritsueto as her friend on the playground due to the isolation she was often surrounded with in her life, wanting to stay with him forever which made the two grow to have a deep love for each other due to how they feel they are in resonating feelings with their predicaments. In spite of Ritsueto dreading his birth, he often makes sure Nahid feel that her life is worth living through despite the illness she’s living with. As he believes even if she can’t overcome it, the real purification will be the memories they’d share together.
  • Cygnus and Kriegressor: Ritsueto sees the duo in orange as two up-nosed but has come to appreciate their heavy dedication in serving him as hard-workers of the Spiral Lords and their corresponding Blackhole Candidates. He respects Cygnus’ heavy perseverance and determination in tasks while Krieg serves in a shaman-like role. They are the ones Ritsueto thinks of when the word “energetic” is brought into question and will await the day if the two ever happen to fail in their tasks or fall in a greater mean. Ritsueto is able to communicate to them well by their general royal demeanors but will not share the same enthusiasm as Cygnus or Krieg (In Krieg’s case, prophetically enthusiastic) As for Cygnus, he sees Ritsueto as a “crow that is unsure of how to grow when it’s flock are gone” causing him to bring care to him as the bigger individual while Krieg prophesizes that the crow will outgrow into something dangerous to lead his new generation of life.

  • Norma and Mosaic: Ritsueto values the critical honesty of Norma but doesn’t want to get much into her analytic sessions due to feeling how it is often boring for him if she were ever to not get to the point with Mosaic. Ritsueto will step in to judge Norma himself if she feels she has gone too far or has judged poorly, giving her the same harsh criticality she would. For the latter’s perspective, Norma often kneels to Ritsueto on-instinct and treating him as someone higher. Thus she’d often feel guilt if something she does is not up to what he expects or something that he’s angered from. Norma would also attempt to stop Ritsueto from being overly harsh on himself if he were to accidentally shame his lineage by trying to convince him that it’s not his fault he was born this way. However Ritsueto rejects it and wants as equal of a judgement Norma gives to others but for himself.

  • Orion and Artemis: In Ritsueto’s eyes, Orion is simply a middle-ground. He cannot see any issues besides how much he tolerates Artemis’ wild attitude but cannot come to a conclusion of seeing Orion as some type of great accomplice due to his very neutral stance in judgement. Orion’s way of attempting to be fair in judging makes Ritsueto think his bond with Artemis had to be forced in a way with their contrasting polarities with Artemis being way more show-offing than Orion. Artemis is what Ritsueto sees as the perfect huntress but very opportunistic compared to Orion. Artemis capitalizes off of opportunities which makes Ritsueto see it as stubborn of her interests she attempts to push onto herself. Artemis has been the only Blackhole Candidate willing to attempt to spar on Ritsueto once with her arrows and has been proven inferior by him, which has made her see him as another huntsman of high respect.

  • Spur + Akultion and Blizker: Similarly for Norma, Ritsueto heavily doesn’t show interest in any of Spur’s elaborate analyzations. However, Ritsueto often looks into Spur’s casual insights into nostalgia as part of her being the second youngest of the Spiral Lords. Nostalgia is a concept Ritsueto would often come to her for rather than any of her collected information, and see how she judges past memories as just or unjust. From this, Ritsueto had been influenced to find a purpose of growth from his Vestiges for him to discuss how he feels about it with Spur. As for Akultion and Blizker, Ritsueto sees the two Blackhole Candidates as Spur’s comedic source of enlightenment when they’re off-duty. But they’re the second Blackhole Candidates Ritsueto treats with little respect as they focus more on intelligence rather than attempting to meld intelligence and strength together. Ritsueto has not been afraid to break Blizker’s confidence when it exceeds in his self-victories.
  • Sagittarius and Jack the Joker: The pair of purple are two of which Ritsueto and Equinox both declare as their jesters. But more respect goes to the former as part of a house-keeping safety measure after he had to retire from the Zodiacs. Less respect goes to Jack from his overall personality being disturbing to them with added context of his past. He generally doesn’t trust Jack due to how mysterious he acts and hihs dynamism in his actions that depend on his general interests swinging like that of a pendulum as opposed to Sagittarius whom he thinks is more sensual and uplifting. These two are the ones Ritsueto often expects to be clumsy but happens to be the opposite as they are the most trickiest and unpredictable. This has made him believe that they’re trying to impress him, but the latter two openly deny this and simply see it as a sign that Ritsueto accepts them for what they are in their personalities.

  • Carina and Regenazion: Ritsueto feels similarity between his parents and the red duo. But he feels a glaring difference between his father and Regenazion in a sense of eerie aura. Carina’s passionate behaviors are something Ritsueto feels commonly around women he tries to expand a lineage with but comes to a point where Ritsueto can easily feel disturbed with Carina’s parasitic-like loving behavior. The two generally feel too romantic to him that it sometimes disgusts him and averts them despite feeling they are very attention-grabbing with how they act very differently compared to the others. He’s very alert when going near Regenazion due to feeling he could be aggressive based on impulsive appearance alone, which generally confuses or bewilders Regenazion whom attempts to approach Ritsueto simply as a cheeky surgical implanter. Regenazion’s cheekiness and Carina’s passion feel stimulating to Ritsueto in a way that he questions if he was similar to them in his status as Haos. Carina would often want Ritsueto to be as Haos due to seeing Homunculi like him as part of a “kin” group she wants to unite with Regenazion due to her generally adoring fetal children after a previous miscarriage she had. Norma sees Carina as disrespectful with the way she approaches Ritsueto but the latter refuses to speak up on it much due to feeling suspicious of how Carina would react even with her taller height alone.

  • Scutum-Crux/Centaurus and Chiron: Scutum and Chiron are Ritsueto’s least to encounter due to how they very much contrast in behavior with him seeing Scutum as the naive child and seeing Centaurus/Chiron as the uptight and wise calculator. They are the two that don’t often think Ritsueto’s right and would disagree with him if the time came, looking at the others that always agree him as too blind. Which has made them conflicted against Rin and Sagittarius causing Ritsueto to keep them strayed from each other during in-person encounters. He avoids looking at Scutum due to feeling she’s overly bright like the mother she divided from, Aeloriva (And Scutum feels Ritsueto is too pessimistic like Spur when she finds something unjust) while he avoids simply talking too much with Centaurus. With Centaurus he’s more lenient due to him being more approachable while Scutum to him feels like she’s too in-touch with caring for the spirits of children thus seeing her as more “cloud-headed”

  • Perseus: TBA

  • Elpis: Ritsueto is baffled by how Elpis defies the norms of the world. Due to his belief that everyone’s norms are defined through their genetical history and that they are meant to improve upon it. As a result of this, he chooses to not to believe in freedom due to how it makes someone distracted from their true purpose in life. Having a huge disdain for any usage of hybridization of Ex Arm that doesn’t blend well with the anatomy or genetical structure of something. Even refusing to receive any help otherwise it would shame his heritage. He even considers Elpis a hypocrite with how he resents Ultfinites yet works with them. Thinking that this type of double standard could crush Elpis if he cannot truly choose what he stands for. Ritsueto is always ahead of Elpis, signifying the advantages of his better choices in his leadership. Considering that the latter’s denying his potential, Ritsueto attempts to make sure that Elpis or any of his allies cannot catch up to him in order to not interfere with his goals. Yet the honorable aspects in Ritsueto makes him refuse to get all of the Spiral Lords involved against his enemy at once. Being a part of how he believes that he’s the only one capable of making the righteous choice for the sake of stabilizing life with the base matter. His resolve is unyielding, and he tempts Elpis, to match his intensity. For Ritsueto, worthy opponents are the forge where his skills are honed, and every battle fuels his evolution.

Abilities

Ritsueto carries advanced abilities of a Black Obyrith, controlling bio-mechanical abyssal protoplasms of his flesh. His protoplasms flow like water pressurized by lightning, this lightning being dark energy which can vary depending on his distortional mass. This dark energy grows through forcefully absorbing light or atoms from organisms into Ritsueto to feed him via focusing into vital nodes that send or receive energy, decaying the sources that it comes from as a result. By unleashing waves of surged protoplasms, Ritsueto breaks down matter into its most basic form, causing irreversible damage and disintegration at a molecular level. Triggering uncontrollable reactions, unpredictable transformations, spontaneous disintegration, fission, etc by disrupting atomic and biological structures thus causing structural weaknesses. He can nullify any attempts at manipulation, reformation, or restructuring of matter. It is the antithesis of dynamic change and evolution, enforcing a state of perpetual solidity and rigidity. His eyes grant him kinetic vision into reality, having extraordinary perception and is able to sense the flow of energy. Granting him precise control over how his symbiotic protoplasms work and how he uses his weapons through gathering energy of those around him for absorption, causing the gathered energy to pass through his protoplasms in a rippling motion. By telekinetically bending and guiding the subatomic flow of energy within these vectors toward converging points, Ritsueto can transform them into projectiles that serve various purposes, attacking, deflecting, altering, overwhelming, or even manipulating matter in complex vector patterns. With this, Ritsueto could tweak the trajectory of objects in motion, redirecting projectiles to hit specific targets or even altering the path of natural phenomena like hurricanes or lightning strikes.

Ritsueto’s vectors affects the direction and speed of his gravital traversal whether on sky or air, changing direction rapidly to dart swiftly, creating powerful currents to propel himself, allowing for swift maneuvers and aerial acrobatics. He’s able to alter his speed, magnitude force, velocity, and trajectory on himself and others to outmaneuver opponents, changing his direction and launching things with enhanced velocity in motion. Creating complex movements to enhance his reflexes and fluidity with curves or non-linear paths in waves, generating powerful energy blasts. Through using his protoplasms’ energy, Ritsueto alters the properties of vectors wih physical attributes, converting them into energized forms of decaying warps. On the defense, he’s able to deflect or redirect attacks or sources and create whirlpool gusts. Sometimes extending to bending reality to his will through distorting vectors to temporarily warp space for a tactical advantage such as generating enery fields, teleporting, altering gravity, negating elemenets or affecting quantum strings through distorting life and the environment. With the symbiotic Heliusseura inside Ritsueto’s rune, he is able to perform many things primarily with his Metagallion, Drazenith Zetsubou. Such as creating matter out of nothing through treating his protoplasms like quantum foam which affects the tangible and intangible with phases of expansion, often recycling the matter from the dead and absorbing their aelophis as distortional mass through a gravitational field. Allowing his body to expand more as he influences the cyclical processes of energy and matter. shifting the magnitude in his attacks through charging himself with a pressurized warp that shifts the power and size of his output. It can also influence his body in centrifugal and centripetal motion through creating sharp extensions of finned wings for angular movements.

The more energy added to Ritsueto internally, he becomes like a burst of energy with the output of his attacks being through pressurized mass of his protoplasms in parallel to the stored chemical energy of Ultfinite’s organic material. Whenever Ritsueto warps, the air is briefly twisted through the pressure he puts onto gravity. but only if an equal volume of protoplasms is allowed to go up against the force of gravity. performing unconventional maneuvers, such as making sharp turns without losing momentum, creating whirlpools of energy, or defying gravity to a certain extent. Ritsueto’s trails leave behind glowing energy ripples, shimmering distortions in the air or water. He adapts to different terrains seamlessly, allowing to transition between any environment. By reversing the direction of his movement vectors, he quickly warps back to a previous position. He can form distortional fields that shift the weight of objects with inertia and magnitude, entangles them through particles or reshapes them. If he wishes to make objects as light as a feather, he decreases their inertia. This also applies to himself, making him move quicker through acrobatics unless recovering from a charged attack. To keep his body in synchronization during interdimensional travel, Ritsueto uses phantasmic bolts to bind to keep himself and utilizes quick dashes through self-propulsion. Through manipulating the inertia of himself when properly stanced, Ritsueto’s Drazenith forms an accretion disk shield when parrying attacks or deflecting projectiles.

Gameplay and Moveset Plan

  • Ritsueto is a straight-forward character who relies on exploiting weaknesses through adapting with two styles that are similar to Elpis’ Ciphers, Horizonboros and Phantom for supplementary attacks, defensive counterattacks and acrobatics. Which utilizes kanji arts and a spinning gear function within Drazenith linked to Ritsueto’s gear to perform warps for unique mobility that dominates mid-air and other environments. Utilizing heavy-hitting attacks, disjointed multi-hits and easily accessible combos involving controlled aggression and resource management. Making Ritsueto have unparalleled dexterity, fluid attacks and elusiveness through the saber and polearm prowess of Drazenith, to easily close in for the kill by making openings. Each weapon acts a sub-style to it rather than acting as a completely different style of combat, alternating Ritsueto’s stance. Horizonboros requires Ritsueto to have control over enemies to draw them into him for more energy due to how his gauge is more demanding to fill, as Ritsueto initially is on low energy thus gains it from fissioning enemies by killing them with executions as his powerful attacks to increase it, varying with the enemy’s position. When Ritsueto gets attacked, his damage increases due to his great durability. He has shorter range on his attacks than Elpis but can reach further enemies when charging and does well against bigger enemies, crowd-controlling them more due to how his attacks are heavier than Elpis and can debuff enemies. He struggles against enemies that are restrictive on him thus utilizes positioning to get control over an area.
  • Phantom can employ passive spell cards named Vestiges that are colored kanji-styled globes of energy released on the death of enemies absorbed into Ritsueto when in-proximity to heal, restore energy, mark enemies with curses or increase Copi cash but drawing in essences can be used in-combat to hold and unleash powerful attacks of techniques to damage enemies without Ritsueto taking any damage, making him immune during it as indicates by a purple swirling aura on Ritsueto. It enhances aerial dashes for swift dives and mid-air combos through enchanting attacks with Vestiges to cause critical damage and swiftly finish off enemies that are on low health. Having attacks that disrupt enemies with stun to cancel spell cards into other ones, while Ritsueto has charged dashes to evade or catch enemies as sudden bursts thus helps during tight spots. With this style, Ritsueto gains a small boost after falling from high places.
  • Ritsueto and Brown are able to cancel the startup of their attacks through their movement options, boosting the movement caused by the attack drifting from ground to air, extending mid-air duration or getting from air to ground easily to control positioning. Ritsueto causes an afterimage slash on his cancels, imbuing his attacks with charged effects.
  • Ritsueto’s attack spell cards utilizes a spinning gear function to draw out kanji via a combination of moves. Enacting out attacks that depict Ritsueto in an Ukiyo-e style.
  • Ritsueto doesn’t do well with range, always having to go near an enemy. Has less options in the air.
  • Has a high double jump with higher speed for more hovers Wall-jumping has him walking up walls and alternating alternate between two walls as opposed to climbing up a singular wall like Elpis. Has temporary wall-runs before he slides off. He can aim his phantasmic bolts to dash anywhere and can be charged in his dashes and dodges for damage whether on ground or air.
  • Treats water like normal ground, but is sensitive to elements that burn or blow.
  • Performs executions on weakened enemies at the end of a stunning combo with charged button combinations aiming at one of their bodyparts to give Ritsueto an energy buff similar to nexeratics.
Drazenith

Drazenith Zetsubou: A double-sided combination of an odachi and a jagged zanbato that causes decay with it’s attacks due to how it has a saber-like frequency across it’s chains, destroying the bonds between atoms and molecules due to how it negates aelophis. Ritsueto is a disruptive force that flexes his blade in elegance and connective nature with how he uses his flurrying attacks, extended techniques, outward curves, executional strikes, vertical chops, wave cuts, multi-directional bends and fluid rushes. Performing great feats such as larger blade transformation, molecular binding, mind splintering, matter distortion-melding (Phasing his blade through a melding distortion), spatial fabric-cutting, etc. Ritsueto can sheathe his binding distortion within his blade’s magazine-like sheathe to draw in gravity for a triggered Iaido slash emitting the sword’s winding stream-pressure as a blasting ripple wave to counter any mutant potentially. Overdriving by disrupting the electric signal in their lifestream and can use his arm to crush someone with gravital pressure to forcefully transfigure and decay via a detonation, reversing any fusions. His electric signal disruptions come from his development to be the ultimate cure, projected into his body’s stream of energy as some type of anti-electromagnetic sap.

  • Ritsueto’s gills require constant aspiration through his Vaesir Drive to breathe and perceive properly, thus compensates by making his fighting style based around breathing out his attacks in direct force. Mimicking the nature of elements through curving his movement.

Drazenith Zetsubou is linked to a grappling set of rune-geared equipment that enables vertical maneuverability, set around Ritsueto’s waist as a bodily harness linked to a machine on his back known as a Vaesir Drive. The Vaesir Drive has batteries charged by protoplasm-atomic energy oversurging due to it attempting to mimic the Aether that came from it, and is administered with Ritsueto’s Arcane Drive labeled Laplace, the last Fermial of a lost continent. Laplace speaks in static and sends information of the precise location and momentum of every atom in the universe with past and future values, preparing Ritsueto for coordination in vertical movement. The Vaesir Drive is linked to Ritsueto’s brainwaves, allowing conversion for him and Isobel.

To maneuver more quickly, Ritsueto projects a phantasmic bolt from his side-equipment in the form of a talisman chain of magic amplification that he can use to either assault enemies or quickly warp himself toward it’s target. Blending into his surroundings by creating a warp illusion similar to the event horizon of a black hole, making him almost invisible or highly resistant to detection for a second. This works in unison with the materials in Drazenith Zetsubou allowing to cut through the weaknesses of mutants such as Ultfinites or Nosoimones. The phantasmic bolts are produced through Ritsueto consuming matter of fallen beings to produce an attracting light in the electromagnetic spectrum in the form of dark energy. Similarly to Gestalt Calibur, Drazenith Zetsubou can parry shots when entering a defensive block stance that turns Ritsueto around with the sheathed blade of Drazenith to reduce damage and countering toward a brief prompt. but doesn’t have any cancels when dodging or parrying.

  • Has a 3-slash combo that has potential to be extensive depending on approach. First slash goes from downward to Ritsueto’s side, second slash goes diagonally downward and the last slash goes from above Ritsueto’s head to an outward slash. Last slash isn’t heavy unlike Elpis thus has more freedom with using blade weapon, and can be held to send a shockwave trail but using double inputs with Phantom allows Ritsueto to rush at an enemy with a rapid slash that launches enemies backwards. This can be extended for 2 more slashes by pausing in the middle of the combo with fast slashes that summons phantasmic bolts floating around him, then can launch these bolts at enemies
  • If Ritsueto holds during his combo, his slashes become heavier but do more damage and can extend with wide slashes that reach up to mid-air before performing a kanji-styled energy slash as a 7-slash combo.
  • A slash that crosses with Drazenith’s glaive form, creating a shockwave crescent
  • While air-borne, Ritsueto can intangibly dash through enemies in a slash when they are marked with his phantasmic bolt. Can happen similarly for lamp-shaped aerial boosters. Maneuvering dash requires energy but is one of the fastest dashes, being able to be done 3 times. Mid-dash Ritsueto can change his trajectory with directional inputs.
  • Is able to slash away enemy projectiles
  • Has the same blade thrust as Elpis but goes through an enemy when the attack is held leaving them stunned for a short while, dragging Drazenith across the ground and leaving slash trails for extra damage. Holding this leads to a launch and a mid-air slash follow-up.
  • A chargeable upward launch (Styled in a Battojustsu stance) with easier held follow-up attacks due to how it unleashes a surge of protoplasms beneath Ritsueto after he briefly teleports forward. Surrounding his attack with a vortex in a follow-up
  • Ritsueto’s overhead slash when on the ground goes fully 360, having decent width. When he’s doing an uppercut slash, he has great height.
  • Cannot use a normal sword attack during dashes, always using his phantasmic stab which will hit on both sides and cause multi-hits. But can slash well when generally moving.
  • Drazenith’s modes has sword-sheathing charge draw attacks releasing a slashing ripple wave of energized protoplasms supporting his movement with a spatial malfunction, allowing to readjust his attacks. These charge attacks require to use 1 or 2 keys following the first that enters the sheathing stance, as it will retract Drazenith back. Charges have a quantum windup animation with the blade drawing in a circular aura circulating blood to deal heavy damage through extending Drazenith by lessening defense. Can be done on the ground and mid-air. Pressing a heavy attack during the charge changes to a different combo and the attack is meant to be released when the sword’s drawn in circular aura causes a flash. Double-pressing light attack quick during the sheathe performs an aggressive phantasmic dash

  • Charges to aim a wide slash that cuts through entropic debris after performing heavy damage on an enemy
  • 3 mid-air slashes that can be paused to extend into an aerial blow
  • Throws out a surge that counters incoming enemies, and can combo in 4 entropic bolts swirling enemies together if they’re nearby
  • Rotates to send out bolts in a ring pattern
  • Quick-draw that slashes outward with a double slash going upward then downward, leaving behind a trail and pulls in enemies
  • Flips over an enemy with a multi-hitting slash, cancelling out dashes
  • Turning inwards slash and an outwards slash that’s wide, chargeable to form long-ranged twirling slashes for ground and mid-air
  • Backwards slash reaching enemies that are behind Ritsueto
  • Lunges in for a counter-offensive grab to enemies that are about to attack Ritsueto from the front
  • Vector Rampage: Ritsueto charges up vectors to release an entropic burst of energy, dealing area-of-effect damage to surrounding foes thus is ideal for controlling the battlefield in tight situations
  • A series of fast multi-slashes followed by a sheathing thrust for ground and air
  • Can teleport away from an enemy when nearly hit by an attack, performing a stealthy counterattack
  • Can use a spell card taking three wheels from the Onyx Black-out’s gauge, doing a wide slash across enemies but when holding it with a full bar it activates Onyx Black-out.
  • Can perform a descending tsunami-like spin slash after pressing downward attack in midair, rolling down and leaving behind afterimages. Also can perform a rolling spin slash while dashing, going past enemies and shredding them, ending with a flipping slam. Upgraded variation in Onyx Black-out sends rising blades that are in the form of dark lightning upon fully slashing downward onto the ground via using multiple Vestiges.
  • Stabs his blade into the ground, sending a beam shot as a spell card
  • A phantasmic dodge that creates a slice sweeping enemies

  • One Vestige can be stabbed into the ground by Ritsueto via pressing a downward slash, sheathing his blade for a sword-sheathe to release a wave of debris via the fragment to attack those near it. Varrying effects with Ex Arms.
  • Creates a mid-air platform to either perch on or slide on, being able to dive from it or throw out phantasmic bolts that he sets up for damage or to maneuver in his basic attacks
  • Has a more difficult parry and can’t dodge-cancel like Elpis. Has a powerful hopping slash attack against airborne enemies. Parries allows Ritsueto to do a counter slash with high knockback.
  • Taunting enemies causes them to be more powerful with more damage, making Ritsueto be more evasive in exchange for more power.Increased damage allows Ritsueto to break armor and dice enemies to ribbons for easier executions. Taunted enemies can’t be blocked or parried and they will cause more damage as a consequence for increasing points. Blocking isn’t recommended unless using counter parries. Heavy attacks negates damage
  • Has stealth takedowns on unsuspecting enemies
  • Onyx Black-out grants a continuous flowing slash before releasing a downward slam with Drazenith as a spell card

Bellow Whip and Lance

In other cases, Ritsueto can either use his turn Drazenith into a bellow glaive (Araquiel Surge) focusing his abilities to work in sync with normal Drazenith in a Kenjutsu-like stance, swinging into multiple directions while Ritsueto is in mid-air, sometimes piercing it into the ground and launching himself off of it for an attack. Utilized for rapid attacks fending closer enemies back rather than actually shooting as part of his honor.

  • Upgrades Ritsueto’s dash to extend a rapid stab as a spiralling drill with spiked tentacle arms lashing out to enemies that are in front, in mid-air or on the ground.
  • Latches onto enemies to drain their 1.2% of their health passing each second to regenerate his health until they have no more, killing them unless they’re hit again while latched if the player doesn’t need the health or is already full. Range at medium. Can charge up while idle to spin sword in an alternate mode like a boomerang shield to reinforce defense with used enemy health, creating a whirlwind of blades that cuts up surrounding enemies.
  • Can reach higher places to grab items or hit enemies that are below or above, and performs grab counters against enemies snatching their weapons and can form into a stretching wire-like armblade within the Hayate Busters’ hilts to swing or slingshot Ritsueto across marked mid-air orbs. Pulling Ritsueto towards enemies allows him to follow with melee attacks. Armblade can grapple platforms downward, pull Ritsueto toward ledges and pull locked gates.
  • A combo-finishing slash that sends a shockwave, charging makes the shockwave last longer and cause more damage. Can be combined with a 2 slashes to send a larger slash wave forward.

  • Can throw a Hayate Buster to pull in an enemy or item
  • Hayate Busters has weaker damage than PB-Railbuster due to how it can’t fire through walls nor be used as well while moving, but can aim repeatedly in 1 to 7 directions. When firing projectiles up close to an enemy, it repels the enemy and can be used to compensate for a lack of charge shots.
  • Ranged combat for Ritsueto’s Hayate Busters is weaker than Elpis’ ranged defensive style using his PB-Railbuster. Even if it does good against lesser enemies
Rolling Thunder

Rolling Thunder: A pair of jet-powered clawing gauntlets and grieves that can summon multiple hands. Drazenith can shift into winged fin extensions for Ritsueto with scythe/sai-like blaster tonfas which hilts Rolling Thunder with his maneuvering gear, the Hayate Busters (Labeled IZ-PUNISHER). The Hayate Busters use high-pressure jet magazines in the form of hilts that provide powering cells to them to fire blade-shaped projectiles via Laplace that have low damage. When firing projectiles, Ritsueto slashes with his Hayate Buster to unload the magazine in thrusts and can chain damage with Drazenith. Usage of this weapon stance allows Ritsueto to perform attacks that can bypass blocking enemies but can be interrupted easier during combos. It can bend the trajectory of Ritsueto’s movement, attacks and projectiles. Said to be ripped from a long-forgotten Behemoth that clashed with the Leviathan. It acts similar to Elpis’ Telesphorus variation of Bulwark, albeit not retaining the same emphasis on defense. Instead being more direct and using attacks that send water-like waves from the Hayate Buster’s blades. Is good at doing sneak attacks but mistakes when using Rolling Thunder may be very costly in health. Works well with Hayate Busters to shift approach easier. Finishers leave behind afterimages of Volans for sustained damage. Allows Ritsueto to curve shots around obstacles or guide them towards targets with pinpoint accuracy, making it deadly at close and long ranges. It has the capability of altering the molecular structure of whatever they hit through adjusted vectors, leading to creative effects like turning solid objects into liquid or gas. Gains more energy from enemies that are taunted.

  • Has a direct head kick that can be done again for an enemy-pushing backwards kick. Countering an enemy with it results in a spinning hook kick.

Onyx Black-out (Ultimatrigger): Ritsueto is able to enter a powerful amorphous form where he removes his miraculous anti-miasmic skull mask breathing it and impaling Drazenith Zetsubou back into his chest to convert into a faulty liquidy ghost form of a reincarnated Haos with the emulating Vaesir Drive breaking the mask Ritsueto wears. In this mode he is in a state of complete tranquility, fully empowered with his nagamani rune to punish incoming enemies but is limited in effectiveness due to how numerous or faster attacks could break through. This activates due to Ritsueto siphoning health from enemies to sate his hunger that causes his health to lower, making him overclock in a burst of power. Onyx Black-out slows down the pace of the environment for Ritsueto calculate attack moves as he changes up his movement, instantly warping toward enemies to attack. His attacks will deflect any enemy. This form is where he is composed with a form of psychic warp energies due to stopping the restrain on his Homunculi emotions, thus eliminating his armor and giving him more speed but more vulnerability as well. It turns Ritsueto’s weapons organic, such as turning his bellow glaive into organs coming from his body.

When used only on half of it’s bar, Ritsueto summons a spectral infernal copy of Haos fighting with him when using an Ex Arm to enter a dual-wield state for crowd control rapidly sending phantasmic bolts, but can be desummoned from Drazenith by being bound within a thurible-like cocoon device linked to it. Multiplies score points as an Aether-mutated Isobel supports Ritsueto but the multiplier depends on the amount of enemies killed fueling the Onyx Black-out’s gauge from certain amounts, filling the weapon or Ex Arm with essence and allowing for instant full charge special skills but will bank the score if performed.

  • Ritsueto can cycle through multiple lost Bio-Armed Metagallion abilities with Onyx Black-out as a skeletal Haos, enhancing his secondary weapons.
  • Enemies are constantly drawn into Ritsueto for the duration of Onyx Black-out

  • Can repeat Ritsueto’s descending tsunami-like slash to turn horizontal
  • Makes the boomerang shield an absorbing void fissure that drags enemies and items towards it

Ex Arms: Unlike Elpis whom archives a fragment of his enemy’s soul into his Ciphers to replicate their weapon based on the corresponding dragonic gene in the Cipher to copy them, Ritsueto learns these abilities naturally and replicates it via binding his enemy before death and analyzing them with the Vaesir Drive to send a data chip from his body towards his brain as techniques that increase his stats. Ex Arms mutate Ritsueto’s right arm with variation rune codes that aren’t put into control, simply integrating with Ritsueto’s predatory fighting style by monstrous two alien samples hybridizing, causing some mental effect. Rune codes has bootlegged raw crystallized data from Gestalt through a feedback pulse and will contain the condensed blood of the boss it replicates by sending data to Ritsueto’s mind. Has magical ninpo-like spell cards cast as special techniques and when using Ex Arms, changing the type of essence from the Ex Arm technique in the form of breathing styles of total concentration, inflicting special types of damage.

  • Flame coats Ritsueto’s armor in lime with blue streaks, burning plants and puts enemies in constant damage when the status is active. Attacks have a gun trigger-like effect at the end of combos, blasting away enemies. Thrust is with a powerful bursting shot and is strong against enemies to the front. Shots are short-ranged. Has upward attacks, as Ritsueto’s slash combo has an upward slash at the end with more vertical range but less horizontal range. Slashes away bullets and has increased slashing range.
  • Lightning coats Ritsueto’s armor in gold with purple streaks, stunning enemies for paralyzing combos. Sends 4 short-ranged homing projectiles sent in zig-zag patterns depending on the enemies near. Shots reflect, getting smaller with each bounce. Enhances the bellow glaive’s movement when grabbing enemies, damaging them more when swinging. Doubled defense. Slash causes a large spread of sharp projectiles, doing half the damage of Drazenith but hits targets quicker. Has boomeranging shots.
  • Wood/Wind coats Ritsueto’s armor in lime with orange streaks, ignoring crumbling terrain and absorbing obstacles with light high-speed movement but low damage. Enemies are pushed away in heavy attacks. Can dodge enemies overhead. Has an idle stance that can react to an attack by timed reactions, pushing the enemy back and dashing through them or absorbs shots with spinning sword-shield. Makes short-ranged shockwave from slashing downward at the end of a normal sword combo, which is lowered to two slashes. Shots split. Has a sweeping slide for shield. Slides down walls slower. Shoots a small ball that bounces across walls, with the angle of the shot’s rebound depending on it’s direction when hitting a surface until it self-destructs.
  • Poison/Water/Psycho coats Ritsueto’s armor in purple with red streaks. Lowers Ritsueto’s gravity, causing him to take longer to land from jumps. Has a high energy gauge usage of multiplying damage with multiple slash waves, sending phantasmic sword in the form of waves, enhanced descending slash that can be used to 3 times. Can redirect vertical maneuvers multiple times. Can jump off surfaces of water quickly. Healing is raised. Shots travel in a sine wave of low-gravity, spreading out as they fall.
  • Ex Arms normally enhance Ritsueto’s moveset, sometimes giving a new weapon while various spells enhance depending on the Ex Arm element. Each one specializes Onyx Black-out when used
Levi

Levi: A sabertoothed wolf-like support droid equipped with a learning optical neuro-AI and was inherited from Volans, whom was able to use a synchronization adapter system to infuse with him via chained plugs. Counters Elpis’ Chiron Strata by being able to transform into a hoverjet titled Yotomoda. Gives a boost from nano-infestant lyciagrotis within his program accumulating. Crystallized data of the rune codes are augmented onto him when using Ex Arms.

Heliusseura: Ritsueto’s symbiotic disc heart in the form of an eldritch fungal flower, it’s crystals being used as mutative power cells. The petals induce bloodclot seeds to appear on himself before converting in Onyx Black-out.

Trivia

Ritsueto has a monastic samurai/ninja motif with themes of void. This is opposed to Elpis’ theme of aether while having a spell-casting technological knight motif and the gladiator/spartan motif of an upcoming antagonist.

Ritsueto’s animal motif is a mix of a fish and avian to clash with Elpis’ snake motif

Elpis and Ritsueto share many thematic parallels with each other:

  • Elpis, with his black attire and focus on truth and self-perception, represents a quest for purity and understanding. His synesthetic perception of colors ties him to his past, emotions, and aspirations for spiritual awareness. On the other hand, Ritsueto’s white attire and emphasis on stability and adaptation showcase a commitment to collectivism and strength amid challenges.
  • Elpis’ stoic demeanor and obsession with uncovering the truth reflect his struggle with emotional complexity, happiness, and mutation. In contrast, Ritsueto’s charismatic yet passive-aggressive nature, rooted in his heritage and innate abilities, demonstrates his adaptability and fearlessness. Both characters exhibit loyalty towards those they care for, integrating personal relationships into their overarching goals and identities.
  • The snake-themed twisting, bending, and rotating nature of Elpis’ design contrasts with Ritsueto’s fish-themed movement akin to flowing water, suggesting two distinctive approaches to maneuvering and adapting to challenges. Both fish and snakes occupy different environments within the ecosystem. Fish are primarily aquatic creatures, thriving in water bodies like rivers, lakes, and oceans. On the other hand, snakes are terrestrial and can be found in various habitats such as forests, grasslands, deserts, and swamps. Fish and snakes have distinct physical characteristics. Fish have sleek, streamlined bodies designed for efficient movement in water, equipped with fins and scales. Snakes, on the other hand, have elongated bodies, scales, and venomous fangs in some species, facilitating their survival on land. Fish are agile swimmers that can move swiftly and change direction rapidly in water. Contrastingly, snakes are known for their slithering motion on land, utilizing their muscle contractions to move smoothly across various terrains. Fish represent emotions and adaptability while snakes represent cunning and flexibility.
  • Elpis and Ritsueto possess unique abilities that shape their approaches to conflict and self-discovery. Elpis wields the power of synesthetic perception and bio-warping through the Exonaut, utilizing surgical precision and atomic energy control in pursuit of healing and transmutation. Ritsueto, as a Black Obyrith, commands bio-mechanical protoplasms imbued with dark energy, showcasing mastery over matter creation, distortion, and energy absorption for offensive and defensive purposes.
  • While Elpis embodies logic, courage, and self-improvement through understanding and purifying impurities, Ritsueto represents adaptability, strength, and a strive for stability and dominance. Their contrasting ideals and abilities provide a rich narrative tapestry that explores themes of truth-seeking, control, balance, and personal growth amidst adversity.
  • Elpis’ Gestalt being able to be activated through a harp handle constrasts with how Drazenith’s hilt can simply be used like a flute

Ritsueto was originally a Venom-like character, whom would be humanoid but have a symbiote of Equinox within him that enhances his Swordmaster-like fighting style. He retains a similar background of being a clan but at the time, his lover was going to be Tateteta.

Ritsueto’s health was originally going to be called Will and have health items damaging him as a reference to Specter Knight in Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment.

Ritsueto’s eyes are pale due to underdeveloped mutative materials making him reach to a certain point of adrenaline which he often attempts to exceed with his Vaesir Drive. He has a third eyelid membrane for protection, turned pale from the mutative materials in it.

Drazenith Zetsubou has a form of enchanted writing on it

Ritsueto was originally going to have charge shots like Elpis. This was removed for balancing. The charge shot levels would’ve been;

  • Hayate Buster’s first charge conjures a ghostly Volans that is fired at enemies burning them in it’s path. If at full energy and holding the shot after firing, the first charges conjures a barrage of ghost projectiles changing element depending on Ex Arm.
  • Hayate Buster’s second charge was never properly thought of
  • Hayate Busters’ third charge surrounds Ritsueto with a spiralling wave of four large energy orbs when grounded. But when releasing in mid-air Ritsueto slashes downward with his Hayate Busters, splitting his shot into the energy orbs with each one moving at a diagonal angle.

Ritsueto originally was going to have a harder time parrying with his melee. This was given to Elpis so that his melee has a harder time while Ritsueto is better at parrying via his sword.

Ritsueto’s shoving spell card for Rolling Thunder is a reference to Shun Goku Satsu

Ritsueto’s Drazenith being able to be used like a flute references Tommy Oliver’s Dragon Dagger

Both Ritsueto and Elpis have necklaces tied to their families, Ritsueto carrying a runestone amulet passed in memory of Aheri for him and Isobel while Elpis has an asterisp-smelted pearl pendant shared with him and Lyra that is actually split.

Ritsueto ensuring to never break a promise with Isobel is a reference to the myth Banchō Sarayashiki

Ritsueto’s cloak is formed from substances of Tehom and mothwing strands

Ritsueto has an IQ of 250
